NBA TRADE RUMORS 2016: Why Dwight Howard would Likely be in the New York Knicks before trade deadline

The NBA rumor mill have been including Houston Rockets Dwight Howard on its topics recently. Dwight Howard has been reported of not having a good time while staying in the Rockets and playing along with Rockets main man, James Harden. According to some reports, Howard has grown unhappy playing as a second man in the Rockets and would likely opt for a trade. And teams like the Brooklyn Nets, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics and most recently the New York Knicks are speculated to be interested in Howard.

In the most recent trade scenario projected by some reports, Howard would likely go to the Knicks through a three team trade deal. And the possible long term stay of Howard in the Madison Square Garden would likely be accompanied by some movement of other players like Omer Asik and Ryan Anderson from the Pelicans.

Movie News Guide also reported that in the said three team trade deal, the Rockets will get New York Knicks' Jose Calderon and Derrick Williams, while the would acquire Howard and Luke Babbitt from the Pelicans. The Pelicans on the other hand may get  Robin Lopez, Terence Jones, Kyle O' Quinn from the Knicks and KJ McDaniels of the Rockets.

This said trade deal rumor was out of the unhappiness of Howard in his current team. It surely involved a lot of player movement just for the Knicks to acquire Howard. However, there is no confirmation about the said deals for Howard himself has repeatedly denied the rumor about him being not happy in the Rockets. Howard told latinpost that;

"I haven't said anything to anybody about anything," Howard said. "People make up lies and rumors. I'm trying to get these guys to play better and myself to play better. People say what they got to say to get a story out."

With this remarks of Howard, Rockets fans are somehow comforted by an idea that their big man will not leave his current team. However, some insiders are pretty convinced on the possible moving out of Howard before trade deadline come February. Guess we would just have to wait and see which team Howard will go in order to validate this rumors surrounding his current status in the league.
