Are Katy Perry and John Mayer back together? The former couple sparked speculations that they have rekindled their romance after they were spotted exiting The Nice Guy nightclub together in West Hollywood in the wee hours on Thursday.
The famous musicians reportedly stayed at the West Hollywood nightspot until 4:30 a.m., according to TMZ. At one point, the 31-year-old songstress appeared like she's serenading her rumored boyfriend when she sang "Natural Woman." Perry and Mayer apparently left the club and were seen boarding an SUV waiting for them. It has been reported that the "Fireworks" hitmaker tried to keep a low-profile as they left the club by hiding her face with her long tresses.
In September, Perry told Harper Bazaar via Daily Mail, "What I've learned is that if you don't have the foundation of self-love first, you really have nowhere to pull love from to give it away,' she said. "I had to learn about taking care of myself before I could take care of others. I want to mommy everyone. I want to take care of them. I want to save them, and I forget myself in the meantime. I learned that through therapy."
Perry and Mayer started dating in June 2012, but their relationship didn't last for long. They got back together in 2013 and recorded a song "Who You Love" New York Daily News reported. The Prismatic star and the 38-year-old ended their romance again in 2014 reportedly due to their huge age gap and busy careers. In 2015, the on-again, off-again couple were often seen together, but they have remained mum on their relationship.
In September, Perry and Mayer were seen close and holding each other hand, at Allison Williams' wedding in September. They began circulating rumors that they're back on again. Despite their sightings frequently in the past months, it's unclear if they started dating again.
