The source of the "Let It Go" fever will freeze our hearts back again when "Frozen 2" hits the big screen.
Movie News Guide reports that Disney had long revealed that the blockbuster film "Frozen" will be releasing its sequel two years from now. However, avid movie fans have their own predictions regarding the Oscar-winning movie including the guess that 2018 might be too late and too long to wait.
Despite the rumored late release of the sequel, rumors have surfaced that one of the highlights of "Frozen 2" is Anna's character turning into that of a villain, and that she will be using her own powers to fight against her sister Elsa. The movie sisters might also change their wardrobe in this new sequel, considering that they've already shown their new look to their fans in "Frozen Fever," a musical fantasy short film that features Anna's birthday, which also generated positive comments and reviews like the first "Frozen" did.
In an interview with "Frozen" directors, Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee in MTV News, the award-winning directors shared that the second installment will be another emotion-and-thought-provoking story about two sisters and is going to feature social issues as well.
"I don't think any of us take [them] lightly, even though they can be very funny and entertaining, the messages that our movies have and the influence they can have on young people. When the kids [watch] them, they watch them over and over again, and if we don't have a decent message in there, I think we've missed an opportunity," Buck said.
On the other hand, fans have been wondering whether Rapunzel will be joining the two sisters in the movie. From what we have watched in the 2010 released movie "Tangled," the beautiful Rapunzel can heal using her tears and also has the strength that resembles that of Ariel in "The Little Mermaid."
People have come to question whether Elsa, Ariel, and Rapunzel will turn out to be sisters in this new musical fantasy movie.
This is for Directors Buck and Lee to know and for us avid fans to watch out for. The two directors have revealed that "Frozen 2" is really happening as they have confirmed that they have been working on the new movie since August 2015.
