The Flourishing Real Estate Industry and Economy of Dubai; A Testament to the Country's 'National Innovation Strategy'

The world of real estate investment may be a tough thing to handle for some countries or region. However, for Dubai, they have the world investing in them in terms of real estate and other industries. According to recent count, "there are 200 nationalities investing in the emirate's resilient real estate sector, which is supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure. Internationally, the returns on investment are much higher than global cities, with rental yields being as high as 8 per cent," reported emirates247.

This said trend within this Middle East city-state is said to be attributed to the strong drive of officials to convert and promote Dubai as one of the world's top tourist destination. In order to actualize such dream, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, drove global companies and government entities in inspiring them to develop iconic structures that will signify Dubai's great change and appreciation for tourism and culture.

A testament to this, emirates247 emphasized that "the emirate is already home to Burj Khalifa (828 metres), the world's tallest tower; Princess Tower (414 metres), the world's highest residential tower and JW Marriott Marquis (355 metres), the world's highest hotel. However, aside from attaining some of the world's highest and tallest structure, Dubai is also known for its openness for other culture and beliefs. The city has opened its doors for other workers coming abroad regardless of their ethnicity and religion. Thus making Dubai one of the world's greatest global city.

But still, it seems like there is no ending for the progress of the said state, especially on their real estate industry. There are still great projects lined up for the Dubai which according to, the Chairman UAE National Innovation Committee, will aim "to deploy the latest technologies to improve people's lives and to develop its economy in line with the country's National Innovation Strategy."
