'Suits' Season 5: Patrick J. Adams Happy About Mike Ross' Arrest

In real life, actor Patrick J. Adams a.k.a Mike Ross of USA hit legal drama "Suits" is also glad that his character's secret is finally out.

"Suits" season 5A ended with Mike Ross getting arrested for fraud and since then fans have been hungry for the answers to the burning question, "Who turned Mike Ross in?" There were reportedly five possible characters including Father Sam Walker to whom Mike had confessed prior to his arrest.

But as fans continue to speculate the person blowing the whistle on Mike Ross's fraud, actor Patrick J. Adams has revealed that he is glad with the mid-season finale. The 34-year-old actor recently told Backstage, "I'm really happy we've been forced to deal with something we were building up to for a long time."

He continued, "I actually felt we could have done it two seasons ago. There was a little bit of treading water for my character, not purposely, but I was always trying to find new ways to make him interesting." Adams has also admitted that he was bored at certain times but he still could manage to keep his character exciting for the follower of "Suits."

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that 50-year-old Canadian actress Leslie Hope will be joining the second half of season 5 as the feisty Assistant U.S. Attorney Anita Gibbs, who will head the prosecution against Mike Ross, according to Deadline. In addition to making sure that Ross will be locked up behind bars, Gibbs swears that she will bring the entire firm down. That is something Harvey Spectre would never allow to happen.

Will Harvey Spectre and Luis Litt, this time, genuinely work together to save the firm and Mike Ross? Will Harvey still manage to get himself and Mike out of this sticky situation? All these questions will be answered when "Suits" return to USA for Season 5B on Jan. 27.
