Contrary to earlier rumors, Ruth Kearney is not the least bit worried about speculations regarding the off-screen romance between her boyfriend, Theo James, and "Allegiant" co-star Shailene Woodley.
Kearney is shrugging off both break-up and infidelity rumors plaguing her relationship with James. According to Movie News Guide, the Irish actress and the "Allegiant" actor are still facing relationship speculations even after announcing their engagement.
These rumors seem to always include James' co-star in the "Divergent" movie series, Woodley. Earlier reports said that the two stars were being cozy during the filming of the third movie installment, "The Divergent Series: Allegiant."
Kearney, however, has proven her fiancé's fidelity when the 31-year-old actor confirmed in an interview before the holidays that he would be spending Christmas with her. James further said that they would be spending it with his family.
The English actor recently announced his engagement to the 26-year-old actress in the hope of silencing the infidelity rumors surrounding him. However, Master Herald noted that instead of a positive effect, fans of James and Woodley's on-screen romance may have spun another rumor about the actor's relationship with Kearney.
One particular rumor stated that James postponed his engagement and wedding plans indefinitely. The report further said that it is uncertain whether Kearney and James are still together. The "Golden Boy" actor's silence is being taken by some as a confirmation that there may be trouble in paradise.
On the other hand, fans of James and Kearney are positive that the couple are keeping mum for privacy issues and that their relationship is going strong.
Whether or not the infidelity rumors about the "Divergent" stars are true, shippers of James-Woodley will see the two together and their on-screen love affair in "The Divergent Series: Allegiant," which is slated to hit theaters on March 18. Meanwhile, Kearney was last seen in the TV Series "The Following" co-starring superstar, Kevin Bacon.
