The crossover episode between "iZombie" season 2 and "Veronica Mars" has already been confirmed and a major star will be joining the new episode.
International Business Times reported that Rose McIver, who portrays the character of Olivia "Liv" Moore in the show, has recently confirmed that "Veronica Mars" main star Kristen Bell will be joining in the new episode of the show. However, the 35 year old actress might not be making an appearance as it was reported that Bell will be playing a voice-over role in the episode which is scheduled to air later this month. Her part in the new episode has not yet been revealed.
Percy Daggs III, Daran Norris, Ryan Hansen, David Starzyk and Adam Rose were the prominent actors in the show who also worked with Bell in the past in "Veronica Mars." It seems like the cast will be having a mini-reunion as they all work together again.
Christian Post reported that McIver made the announcement when she uploaded a video telling the fans that Bell has agreed to do a voice over for the show. She also revealed that she is a big fan of the actress and expressed her excitement to work with her. She tells the fans that she hopes that they will enjoy the new episode of the show and thanked Rob Thomas for making it possible for Bell to join the show.
It was earlier reported that the return episode will feature Liv eating the brain of a dead librarian who died because of poisoning. In their investigation, they found out that the victim was also an erotic fiction writer. Some of the fans think that the librarian will be played by Bell, however, the show has not confirmed anything yet.
"iZombie" season 2 episode 10 will air on Jan 12 while the crossover episode 11 will air on Jan. 26.
