The long-awaited preview of Fox's "The X-Files" released a three-minute video for its tenth season run when it hits tv screens on Jan. and the intensity of events that Fox Mulder and Dana Scully will soon pursue just got even heavier. The events unfold a series of investigation that Mulder is still seeking to find out while Scully irreverently tries to stop Mulder from going any further.
Since its last inception in 2002 where it aired its ninth season, Inquisitr reports about this latest must-see regarding the paranormal series which features the latest investigations behind U.F.Os and the life that surrounds Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson).
The plot based on the outlet details that both Mulder and Scully are back at the F.B.I and once again will try to uncover another mysterious case.
"A government agent, presumably from the F.B.I., draws Mulder and Scully back to the Bureau and sets them free to again investigate the paranormal, but a new alien cover-up proves to be more than they expected. As promised, the teaser also gives fans a look at what the stand alone, monster of the week episodes will entail," details from Inquisitr.
Meanwhile, Duchovny talked about his character's relationship with Scully in his past interview with THR and indicated that he booted for a more "platonic" one rather than what people expect of their characters to be "romantically" involved with each other.
"We're not bickering while we're running with our guns out," Duchovny said in the interview. "The relationship was never played [before this]. It was never ... the predominant aspect of the show as written. It was something that was unspoken. I think it remains that way. I personally don't want to Mulder and Scully sitting in couples' therapy; that's not what the show is. You can find that on other shows."
And he also declared that Mulder will always be the "worst" FBI agent who always considered searching for the unknown rather than for something "prosecutable."
"I've always said, he's the worst FBI agent of all time," Duchovny explained to THR. "He's never solved a case. He's a bad FBI agent, because he tries to solve cases, but he doesn't try to solve cases where they're prosecutable. Or he's not interested in cases which are going to end up with someone going to jail, or the bad guy being apprehended. He's interested in wonder."
Watch the premiere episode of "The X-Files" Season 10 on Jan. 24, 2016.
