'Baywatch' Movie Update: Kelly Rohrbach Plays CJ Parker; The Sports Illustrated Rookie of 2015 Gets Enough Time Post-breakup with 'Revenant' Actor Leonardo Dicaprio

"Baywatch" will be joined by Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kelly Rohrback as the CJ Parker of the hit TV series of the same title. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efron will also be part of the upcoming movie.

"Baywatch" will not be "Baywatch" if there is no CJ Parker. Johnson will be playing as the iconic lifeguard Mitch Buchanon, while Efron will be a former Olympian-turned lifeguard. The three of them need to save the bay. The movie will be directed by Seth Gordon, Hollywood Reported posted.

Rohrbach only had several projects under her belt, but this may soon change once "Baywatch" the movie rolls out sometime in 2017. Pamela Anderson went into stardom right after her "Baywatch" TV series character's popularity.

Johnson also announced the news on his Instagram account, and there were three posts about it. Now the real funny one was when Johnson and Rohrback were playing the role of Mitch and CJ Parker, and decided to mimic the iconic intro of the TV show, running on the beach in slow motion. While both were running, Johnson suddenly pushed Rohrback to the side, who then lost her balance and fell down on the sand.

Rohrback is also starring in an untitled movie of Woody Allen, where she will be together with Kristen Stewart, Steve Carell and Jesse Eisenberg. The project is said to be due to come out later in the year.

To many, one factor that matters most is her being the Sports Illustrated Rookie of the Year for 2015. A person being one will definitely be good looking in a swimsuit.

On other news, friends of Rohrback are a little bit confused if they will be congratulating her for the role or congratulating her for being single again. Coincidentally, Rohrback was Leonardo DiCaprio's former girlfriend. A very busy schedule and both needing a break were the reasons for their break-up, a source told Vanity Fair.

The "Baywatch" movie will premiere in 2017.
