Donald Fagen from Steely Dan was arrested after his wife reported him to the police. Apparently, Fagen assaulted his wife, Libby Titus, inside their New York City home Monday evening, a report from TMZ said.
Based on the criminal complaint made, Fagen pushed the complainant into a marble window frame in their Upper East Side home. She suffered bruises and swelling on her right arm. What's unusual about the incident report made was that the complainant was not named but Fagen's wife's address and age matches those of the complainant's.
It was also unclear if the complainant received any medical attention for her condition. A police spokesman was available to provide only a few details regarding the arrest.
Adam Miller, Fagen's lawyer was requested by CNN to provide comment on the matter but was not able to respond. Fagen's publicist also declined to provide any comments.
The Steely Dan co-founder was arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor assault and was cited for harassment. The court also ordered Fagen to stay away from Titus. He was released without bail.
It was reported that Libby Titus will be divorcing Fagen.
