15 Netflix Original Series To Debut in 2016

We've seen a whole lot of good shows coming from Netflix, like Marvel's "Jessica Jones," "Daredevil, "Orange Is the New Black," "House of Cards," and even "Making A Murderer." There's no doubt that the streaming service is on a roll, with no signs of stopping anytime soon.

In fact, audiences can expect a lot more from Netflix in the coming New Year. Fox59 reports that there are a whopping 15 new original Netflix series that are set for a 2016 debut. Take a look at the list:

1.    3%

Director Cesar Charlone will bring this new series to Netflix, which stars Joao Miguel and Bianca Comparato. Shot entirely in Brazil, the dramatic thriller follows characters that try to make it on "the better side" of a divided world, as reported by CBS News.

2.    Chelsea Does

Leave it to Chelsea Handler to put her name on every show she's doing! The four-part documentary, set for a January 23 debut, stars the 40-year-old comedienne as she takes on marriage, racism, drugs, and even Silicon Valley!

3.    The Crown

Claire Foy will be playing the role of Queen Elizabeth II while John Lithgow portrays Winston Churchill in this new show, which highlights the queen's reign over the decades in a 10-episode series.

4.    Flaked

Will Arnett from "Arrested Development" and "BoJack Horseman" will star in this Netflix series, which revoles around a "self-appointed guru" that eventually falls in love with his best friend's crush.

5.    Fuller House

"Fuller House" definitely won't need any explanation - it basically picks up where "Full House" left off, following D.J. Tanner's life in San Francisco. The series will premiere on February 26.

6.    The Frontier

It seems as though Khal Drogo has switched sides! Jason Momoa stars in the series set in the late 18th Century, centering on the North American fur trade. According to Netflix, fans can expect action-packed sequences with "close-quarter hatchet fights."

7.    The Get Down

"Moulin Rouge" and "The Great Gatsby" director Baz Luhrman is the man to thank for creating this new Netflix series - a musical drama set in South Bronx during the '80s.

8.    Lady Dynamite

Maria Bamford of "Louie" and "Arrested Development" fame will be starring in this Netflix series. The show will take inspiration from events in Bamford's life.

9.    Love

Starring Paul Rust and Gillian Jacobs, this series is definitely going to be hilarious! After all, Judd Apatow is at the helm, and has even signed the show on for two seasons already. The comedy series will give an "unflinching, hilarious and excruciatingly honest take on modern relationships."

10.  Marseille

This series marks Netflix's first French production. The show is the story of 25-year mayor Robert Taro (portrayed by Gerard Depardieu) who finds himself facing off against a much younger competitor for the coming elections.

11.  Marvel's Luke Cage

After making his successful debut on Marvel's "Jessica Jones," Luke Cage will now get his own series! Mike Colter will still reprise his role as the man with "unbreakable skin."

12.  The OA

There aren't many details regarding this drama yet. However, the series will reunite Brit Marling with director Zal Batmanglij, both from "Sound of My Voice" and "The East."

13.  The Ranch

If you're looking for a "That 70s Show" comeback, this is probably the closest you will get. Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson will be starring in this new Netflix comedy about two brothers trying to keep the family business running on a Colorado ranch.

14.  A Series of Unfortunate Events

Based on the popular book series - which also had a film adaptation in 2004 starring Jim Carrey - will soon be on the streaming service. The series will still follow the adventures of orphans trying to figure out their parents' death.

15.  Stranger Things

Winona Rider stars in this series, portraying a single mother living in Indiana as her 12-year-old son goes missing. Netflix claims that the new series will involve "top secret experiments, terrifying supernatural force and one very strange little girl."
