'Legend of Zelda' Wii U Gameplay & News: Video Leak Reveals Footage From Future Nintendo Direct Zelda Announcement?

A new report about "Legend of Zelda" Wii U has surfaced this week claiming that a leaked video of the game revealed a footage of what appears to be a future announcement from Nintendo Direct. It was said that the footage "celebrates the 30th anniversary of Link's adventure franchise," a report from Design & Trend said.

According to the report, the leaked video was first cited by Gamer Professional. It was said that the rumored video was taken from a reliable source. The video footage has been shared by a certain YouTube user named Diancie Diamond.

"The footage begins with a father showing his daughter a page from the Hyrule Historia. She excitedly points to Link from 'The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker.' Upon hearing of the character's many quests, she decides to scrape together a Link costume of her own. She's disappointed, however, when she's unable to accomplish the task. Upon seeing the enthusiasm his child shows for a franchise that he also loves, the man makes his daughter a complete outfit with a fake sword and shield. Text that reads 'a new generation begins' scrolls across the screen. The end shows 'The Legend Of Zelda' logo with the phrase only on Wii U," the report said, describing the video.

Meanwhile, VC Post reports that the popular video game "will be an action-adventure, open-world adventure where Link would be able to explore a vast over world with less emphasis on defined exits and entrances to dungeons. This game will also challenge and alter the iconic gameplay of the Legend of Zelda series, like completing the dungeons in a certain order and would apparently bring back the basics of the original Zelda games."

"The Legend of Zelda Wii U will be available exclusively for the Wii U once released. Hyrule Warriors Legends will be released on March 25, 2016 for the 3DS, and preorders are available for $39.99," the report said.
