After months of being in rumors, last night, it was finally revealed. Guns and Roses are officially going to be together again this coming April for this year's Coachella. A reunion concert, and their fans are going wild already! However did this thing happen?
That is, if there would really be any reunion at all. The Saturday's line up of this California Music Festival's list isn't clear if it is Guns and Roses going to be playing or just some of their group members.
In a Twitter announcement only their guitarist Slash and their bassist Duff McKagan confirmed their participation. Slash has not even played with Axl Rose being present since the last time in 1993 during the end of their Use Your Illusion tour.
The question goes from the fans:
Will their rhythm guitarist Izzy Stratdlin be involved? Stradlin left the group in 1991, but his contribution has been significant in some of their music, as he has played a key role especially in their last album Use Your Illusion. If he isn't playing the guitar, who will?
Who will play the drums? Will it be Frank Ferrer or Matt Sorum? These two have joined and left the band at different times. There's also Steven Adler, who also left the band because of drug problem or could it be Mick Taylor who once did some few songs a night for their Use Your Illusion album tour.
Who else from the band will be involved? GN'R has keyboard members in the person of Dizzy Reed and Chris Pittman, but since all other are not yet verified if they will be part of the lineup, who knows if all other are coming as well?
Who knows what's going to happen after Coachella, and if there will be another chance for a single or even an album from the group.
The fans are expecting. This is supposed to be a reunion where every one of them should be present, but for now, with very little information we wait and hope that Guns and Roses will do a press conference soon.
