"The Flash" Season 2 will see the return of Robbie Amell's character Deathstorm. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will also contemplate on revealing his true identity as The Flash to Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten).
In the synopsis for "The Flash" Season 2 episode 10, Barry would want to be honest to his new girlfriend Patty about his real identity. However, it is unclear whether or not he will actually get to that point before someone else's life will be put at risk.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gustin said that his character will be toying with the idea of telling Patty the truth.
"But at this point, he's taking the same position he had last year with Iris and everyone. He knows what could happen if the people that he cares about know that he's 'The Flash.' He puts them in danger. That doesn't sit well with him," he said.
The 25-year-old "Glee" alum added, "The idea of telling her is bouncing around in his head in the near future, but he doesn't really know how to approach it. He's not sure, so mostly he's just thinking about it... He's trying to tiptoe around it without blatantly lying to Patty at first, which creates some awkward situations."
In other news, Amell is expected to return to the second half of "The Flash" Season 2 to play his role Deadstorm.
According to EW, Amell will return to "The Flash" Season 2 to play Ronnie's Earth-Two counterpart Deathstorm.
"We are beyond excited to have Robbie back on 'The Flash.' You can't keep a good Firestorm down. Only this time, he's back with a twist, a deadly Earth-Two version of our beloved Ronnie in the form of Deathstorm," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told the publication.
"The Flash" Season 2 episode 10 will air on The CW on Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. ET.
