Michal Handzuš, the Slovakian NHL player, has reportedly listed his home in Hermosa Beach, Calif., for $4.1 million.
Property records show that Handzuš purchased the home for $3.7 million in 2008, at about the time when he was playing with the Los Angeles Kings.
The residence is being marketed by June Emerson of South Bay Brokers, Inc. Spanning an area of 3,668 square feet, the home has six bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The multi-level, stone-stucco house has hardwood and tiled flooring, high drywall and wood-beamed ceilings and large glass doors and windows.
Living spaces include a formal living room, a family room, several seating areas, a modern kitchen with a granite-top mid-rise island, an office and a wet bar. The master suite has walk-in closets and baths for him and her and separate shower areas.
Decks and balconies open out at the upper levels providing for scenic views of the ocean and the bay area.
Outside, the home has a spa and a five-car parking garage.
The listing describes the home as:
"California Dreamin'! Custom built in 2003 this quality home is where urban beach living comes to life. Just steps to the sand and situated on a sun-filled corner, this partial solar powered property allows for sweeping views from Malibu to Palos Verdes."

Currently, Handzuš is a free agent and is reportedly waiting for offers from the NHL.
"Nothing has changed , I am waiting for offers from the NHL . It is the end of October , a week or two will determine the future . If anything is not in the NHL, (I shall) warm up in Banska Bystrica and then see where my next steps will lead," Michal Handzus was quoted by a Slovakian news outlet.
"It's been almost a month since the beginning of the league, I trained a lot and I would like to know how (good I am at it)," he added noting that if the NHL doesn't offer anything he would head over to ripple at Banska Bystrica.
