Real Estate Listings: Eagle Rock Colonial-Inspired Craftsman Duplex for Sale for $850,000

In San Rafael Hills, there's this small neighborhood of Northeast Los Angeles filled with beautiful properties. Popularly known as the Eagle Rock neighborhood, the community is famous for its old but charming homes. One of these is called the Colonial Craftsman, which was built back in 1922, a report from Los Angeles Times said.

According to the report, Eagle Rock's Colonial Craftsman has a distinguished, unique and elegant style that features "symmetrical facade, clipped-gable roofline and columns flanking the front entry."

The house boasts detailed and curved archways and ceilings and a tile fireplace inspired by a "Batchelder-style". It was said that the property exudes a vintage look appropriate for a 1920s home. The house has undergone several renovations already which include a spacious remodeled kitchen and new hardwood floors.

The whole real estate property sits on a 9,799-square-foot lot, while the house's size is more than 1,749 square feet. It also has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The current asking price for the home is $850,000. The property is being managed by the Botsford Group, Partners Trust Real Estate.

It was said that back in November, there are 14 single-family homes that have been sold in the famous 90041 ZIP Code. Although the price for each property varies, a report from Corelogic has stated that the median price of the sale was pegged at $675,000. It noted that there was a decrease in price by 2.9 percent from November 2014.

"The larger unit has two bedrooms and convertible den, one bathroom and a remodeled kitchen. The home has hardwood floors in the bedrooms and hall. A lovely Batchelder-style tile fireplace anchors the cozy living room and natural light streams into the front rooms through the abundant windows. The second unit is a one bedroom, one bath with a kitchenette. Both units share a landscaped rear yard offering charming brick pathways to a patio and outdoor fireplace," The Partner Trust said.
