Las Vegas Real Estate: PlugRE.com to Feature 3D Tours of Las Vegas’ Luxury Communities Using Augmented Reality for Real Estate

Homebuyers and sellers can now experience a 3D virtual home tour of the Luxury Communities in Las Vegas, with the first Augmented Reality website for real estate, launched by PlugRE.com.

According to their press release in PR NewsWire, the launching of the new Augmented Reality for Real Estate in Las Vegas, is part of the beta test being conducted by the company. PlugRE.com plans to bring the website technology showcasing properties for sale and rent in Florida, California, and Hawaii. PlugRE.com is aiming to be the primary stop for home buyers and renters who want to have a tour of the property they want from the comfort of their home or in the palm of their hand. They also offer home or condo sellers a unique way of determining the value of their property, as well as reach a larger audience when they decide to sell their home or condos.

PlugRE.com supports a wide variety of technologies and media. These include the support for the Matterport 3D imaging and various hand-held spherical cameras like the Ricoh Theta. As an open platform, PlugRE.com can interface with any device that takes a spherical picture. Spherical images created with DSLR cameras are stitched together with programs like AutoPano Giga from Kolor.com.
