Start your 2016 right by de-cluttering stuff that are weighing you and your home down. Keep your abode fresh and neat by identifying things that you no longer need this year.
Start your home detox by going through your closet. Throw out those old towels, and let go of your clothes that are two sizes smaller. Yes, it is good to strive to be fitter, but there is also value in embracing the body you have now, so stop stressing over 'what used to fit you.' Focus on trying to be healthy and energized instead on shedding pounds and inches.
You have probably collected tons of beauty products, accessories, shoes and bags over the last couple of years, and it is time to finally accept that most of them are just taking up space in your walk in. Toss those body scrub and hand cream bottles, and check the expiration dates of your cosmetics. Sell the bags that just do not go with your style on ebay, or a second hand store. Do the same for that pair of shoes that you haven't worn in a year.
Aside from your smart phone, you have a tablet or an iPad, and a mac or a laptop. So why are you still keeping that old mobile phone inside your drawer? Rid yourself of old gadgets especially the ones that are no longer working, or donate them to people in need if they are still in good condition. Same goes for old appliances that take up huge spaces in your home. Those CD and DVD players that you have not used for at least 5 years are just collecting dust.
Lastly, let go of anything that you want to move on from. Throw away paperwork from that old job, and anything that reminds you of that painful relationship. Give yourself a fresh start by detoxifying unnecessary clutter in your home.
