  • Realtors spend their own budget for marketing. Real estate agents won't get paid unless they sell the properties. One of the hard parts of being an agent is that they shoulder the expenses incurred for their marketing strategies. In order for them to gain their income, they pay to promote properties in magazines and newspaper ads. They also spend their own money for fliers, hiring a photographer, and placing properties on first-class listing sites, Nefar reports.
  • Realtors are great mediators. There is sometimes a rift between a seller and a buyer. However, real estate agents won't meddle in the issue but fix the problem. Agents protect their buyers from drama when something happens unexpectedly.
