Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s Seattle Home Goes on Sale at $3.5M

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has put his Seattle home on the market for a selling price of around $3.5million.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Nadella's home at Clyde Hill in the state of Washington is up for sale at $3.488M. The Microsoft CEO bought the house 15 years ago, in August of 2000, at a price of $1.385M.

The Clyde Hill home was originally built in 1963 but is then renovated to a contemporary living space with "polished concrete and ceramic floors, vaulted ceilings and exposed steel beams" that give the house an industrial-looking ambience. The exterior of the house is made of wood with flat roofing.

The listing, posted on Redfin, shows pictures of Nadella's home, where the western wall is completely made of glass from the floor up to the ceiling for a panoramic view of the Seattle cityscape, the Lake Washington and the Olympic Mountains.

The 4,050 square feet home includes four bedrooms, along with a Master's, and three bathrooms all located on the main level of the house. Nadella's house also features a loft, used as an office space, facing the extravagant view and two fireplaces. The floors are made of a combination of ceramic tiles, concrete, wall-to-wall carpet and bamboo/cork.

The 52-year-old Clyde Hill home also includes, a kitchen with eating space, dining, utility, living and family rooms. A spacious grass lawn is found on the western side of the house while the covered garage, which could park two cars, is located on the eastern side beside the main entrance.

The house is equipped with a central air conditioning, forced heat and radiant heat systems, dishwashers, double oven, microwave, range/oven and refrigerator. A water heater is also available.

This home on an elevated slope also comes with a security system.

The 48-year-old CEO is said to be relocating to another home in the same region.
