One of the celebrity homes sold at the beginning of the year belongs to model Gigi Hadid. The 20-year-old didn't land a contract for a new modeling stint, but she received $2.3 million for the Bowery condo she's been selling for the past six months.
The Bowery condo is located on #250 Bowery, a building boutique. It is only several minutes away from the New Museum on the Bowery and just a few steps from SoHo, Nolita and the Lower East Side. Hadid bought the condo through Yolanda Hadid's Family Trust for $1.94 million in 2014.
NY Curbed reports that the supermodel, who's now dating Zayn Malik, had listed the condo back in July for an asking price of $2.5 million. The property was snagged by a group under the name 50NYU Inc. for $2.3 million.
The 935-square-foot apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and has a price of $2,620 per square foot, according to Business Insider. The condo is full white in color and designed with white oak floors. It also boasts imported Italian pivot-hinge doors and high-end appliances. The Bowery property has a kitchen with modern appliances and built-in Carrara marble counters.
The celebrity home also boasts a spacious living room with windows offering Bowery views. The two bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a huge amount of light. The bathrooms were built with chrome fixtures and bathtubs. The master suite has a walk-in closet and extra deep soaking tub. A roof garden is also in place which is an ideal spot for relaxation and a place to entertain guests.
Daily Mail states that the prime spot in Nolita was decorated with Christmas decors by Hadid's close friends Kendall Jenner and "1989" hitmaker Taylor Swift back in December. As Hadid said goodbye to her home, she was reportedly spotted with her new beau, ex-One Direction crooner Zayn Malik, shopping for a new crib. The couple checked out a home in the NoHo neighborhood which has an asking price of $6.49 million.
