Celebrity Homes: Christina Applegate's Stunning Kitchen Makeover

Christina Applegate loves everything in her house. It is the home that she truly treasures. But if there is one place that she is not fond of, that is her kitchen. Christina said that her own kitchen is the ugliest one that she has ever seen.

Interior design firm Laurel & Wolf helped renovated Applegate's kitchen. The firm exclusively shared to Elle Decor the journey in the great kitchen renovation in which they transform Christina's plain kitchen to a clean and modernized one.

After a flood damped Christina's floor kitchen, she then decided that she wanted a new look for it. Laurel & Wolf's designer, Jessica Today, used countertops from Caesarstone, Kohler fixtures, tiles from Ann Sacks and tableware by Table + Dine. They were able to come up with a great design that made Applegate's kitchen more functional and friendly for the whole family, especially to the kids.

Applegate shared how she loved the new look of her kitchen and that she loved cooking there now. With what Jessica made, everything is so easy already for Christina. As she said, "the kitchen is so bright and open and the use of space that Jessica came up with is just amazing to me."

The kitchen is now as clean as white. The fixtures, tiles, paint and even the appliances blend in perfectly. Christina simply loves her new kitchen and it is now more comfortable to go around with after a stunning makeover.

"It feels like it's a place where we can celebrate now, as opposed to a place that we want to get out of as fast as possible - which is what it was like for me for the last 20 years of living in this house," says Christina.
