Living in New York is a dream many people have, but finding a perfect home in this city is as stressful as Black Friday shopping. If you have enough money though, it will just be waiting under your Christmas tree.
Curbed New York recently reported that a 115-year-old house, which is more than a century old, is in fact for sale, priced at $4.7 million. The property is also called a historic landmark because of its great architecture that stands against time.
The house is located in Park Slope but it’s specifically located off of Prospect Park and is a seven minute 2/3 at Grand Army Plaza.
According to its listing page over at StreetEasy, the house was built back in 1901, so you could expect some impeccable architectural design inside the house, which boasts its turn of the century design features. The architect was inspired by the Romanesque Revival style and basically built the spacious home in this manner.
It has a total of five bedrooms, all of which have the original century old architecture. A total of five fireplaces are also within the house, all of them made with interesting and vintage designs.
The picturesque staircase leads you to the master’s suite on the second floor. The master's suite offers a larger than life space. It has a floor to ceiling storage as a dressing area, a superb fireplace, a grand bathroom, and an additional space that can be converted into another bedroom, or it can also be turned into a living room.
You can take the staircase up another story to access three huge bedrooms, a bathroom, and the laundry room. You definitely won’t run out of space in this house.
The garden outside also houses another bedroom and a bathroom which can be used as a guest house.
The dining area contains another fireplace which complements the impressive woodwork done on the ceilings and the furniture.
