Gramercy Park Realty News: The 103-unit Luminaria Condo Conversion was Lighted Up in Preparation for Its Sales Launch

Ben Shaoul's Magnum Real Estate has lighted up the 103-unit Luminaria condo conversion at 385 First Avenue in the Gramercy Park neighborhood, in preparation for its sales launch later this Winter. The cool-blue lighting scheme of the condo building is inspired by the building's floor-to-ceiling windows and sun-bathed units, according to the marketing team.

The 21-story, 154,000-square-foot edifice which was previously named Post Luminaria was a former rental tower completed in the Summer of 2002. It was a joint venture of Atlanta-based Post Properties and the Clarett Group.

The wide floor-to-ceiling windows are made of clear and frosted glass. During daytime, frosted glass walls emit radiant light, and at night the cool-blue lighting glows from within, giving a distinctive addition to the structure.

The 6sqft news has reported that Shaoul's Magnum Real Estate Group signed a contract to buy Post Luminaria and Post Toscana, its sister building, for a total of $270 million. The 138 rental units of the building will be pared down to 103 condominiums, which range from one to three bedrooms. Shaoul told Bloomberg that prices will range between $1 million and $5 million, making them a bargain in the area.

The amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, a weight training center designed by the Wright Fit, central heart and air conditioning, a rooftop terrace, a residents' lounge with an adjoining terrace, a 24-hour attended lobby, and a bicycle storage and a private storage room available for purchase.

It is a rare opportunity to own a home in the Luminaria Condo in the Gramercy Park neighborhood. In this beautifully designed condo conversion with D'Apostrophe Design interiors, the space, light and location combine to present a convenient and brighter kind of living in Manhattan, as reported by Street Easy news.

The condo offers well-considered amenities: a doorman, a gym, a garden, a roof deck, multiple outdoor spaces, a fitness center designed by noted trainer Jay Write, and a private on-site storage.
