Derby Telegraph suggested the following trends:
1. Black and Colored Stainless Kitchen Appliances - in a recent survey by the website Houzz, it was revealed that approximately 60 percent of their members want to have black stainless appliances for their kitchen this year. However, black appliances will not be the only ones popular this year as the site also suggested that colored appliances will also make waves this year as many people want their things to stand out.
2. Colors Rose Quartz and Serenity - it was earlier reported that these will be the colors for 2016, and many people would be incorporating them in their home designs, furniture and other items inside their homes.
3. Shaped Tiles - Funky-shaped tiles would add not only color but also interest throughout the house.
4. Statement Mirrors - Interior design experts suggest using vintage mirrors, particularly to boost the style of the bathrooms.
5. Marble - Marble can be incorporated in many ways like using a marble pattern in wall art or wallpaper, which can make help the space look elegant.
Zillow also suggested the following trends for 2016:
6. Art deco-inspired patterns and shapes - Geometric patterns can be incorporated in artworks and wallpapers to add elegance in any space.
7. Nubby wool rugs - The neutral hues of these rugs can complement any design and can soften bold colors in any room or outdoor space.
8. Patterned Tiles - Experts suggest using these tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms and even as accents to fireplace mantles.
9. Travel Souvenirs - these unique finds can create an interesting story in any place of the house.
10. Smart appliances - AZ Central thinks that many homes would opt to have built-in devices for convenience and also safety.
