Justin Bieber Summoned by Argentine Court Over Alleged Assault

Justin Bieber has been summoned by an Argentine court to appear before them within two months.

According to Reuters, Bieber has to answer the court's questions about an alleged assault on a photographer in Buenos Aires in a nightclub last year.

Diego Peosa, the alleged assault victim, accused the pop star and one of his bodyguards of "lashing out on him" after trying to take Bieber's picture after he left Palermo Hollywood.

According to state-run news agency Telam, the court magistrate, Facundo Cubas, requested the Argentenian Interpol branch to help them locate the star.

If Bieber does not appear during the given period, he will be detained and will be requested to explain why he was not able to present himself to the court.

"Bieber has to come to Argentina, and it won't be to sing," said Pesoa's lawyer Matias Morla.

It was reported that a gang of men chased the photographer after Bieber was escorted back to a van where a few girls were waiting for him.

Pesoa called the police right before he went to the hospital.

"I was waiting for Justin Bieber to leave so I could take a picture of him when a bodyguard tried to take my camera off me.

"He began to run after me and half a block away he punched me in the head before kicking me in the stomach as I was laying on the ground. When I tried to get away, I realized that instead of just one there were seven or eight bodyguards behind me," said Pesia.

"I've got cuts all the way up my arm and bruises on my stomach and my head hurts," he added.

The video of the alleged assault was posted online after Bieber suspended three concerts in Argentina because of "food poisoning."

This news came days after he was ordered to pay $80,000 to a neighbor in Calabasas, California after he threw eggs at the property.

Previously, a judge ruled that Bieber should take action in controlling his temper and ordered him to take 12 anger management classes and six days of community labor, according to Mirror.

There are no reactions from Bieber's side yet regarding this report.
