Sergei Fedorov Net Worth: Hockey Hall of Famer's Miami Penthouse Sold for $11M

Retired hockey star Sergei Federov has sold his lavish penthouse in Miami for $11 million.

Federov, who won the prestigious Stanley Cup three times, is the present general manager of CSKA Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League, a report from Realtor said.

According to the report, Federov's real estate property in Miami, Florida is actually a 5,680-square-foot penthouse. It can be recalled that he originally bought the residential Portofino Tower property back in 2007 for only $2.28 million, after the 44-storey building was completed in 1997.

"The palatial penthouse comes with four bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and nearly 2,000 square feet of rooftop space, which includes a pool. There's also stunning views of South Beach and the city skyline. The interior has been updated, and the unit boasts all-new fixtures, appliances, and finishes," the report reads.

Biz Journal reports that the new owner of Federov's penthouse is also a Russian named Denis Gerasev.It was said that Gerasev actually served as the international relations director of the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi back in 2014.

The sale of the property was handled by listing agents Dina Goldentayer and Sladja Stantic from ONE Sothebys Realty. Both listing agents represented the owner in the sale, while the buyer was represented by Southpoint Shore Management. It was said that the property's asking price is equivalent to $1,937 per square foot.

Celebrity Net Worth reports that Fedorov has a net worth of $30 million. He rose to fame in July 1990 when he signed with Detroit Red Wings, leaving behind the Soviet National Hockey team after a game in Portland, Oregon.
