A four-bedroom penthouse in the same building was listed on the market for rent at $85,000 a month.

The Penthouse II in the Puck Building finally went into contract and is expected to close the deal in a month. According to TRD, Sotheby's declined to comment on the price of the Penthouse II as this is one of the most prestigious penthouses in the city.

The penthouse, which has a total area of 5,200 square feet, has an asking price of $6,721 per square foot. It is one of the six penthouses developed by the Jared Kushner-led firm atop the historic Puck Building at 295 Lafayette Street, as reported by The Real Deal news.

A source close to the developer declined to disclose the price of the penthouse, but it said that the developer was not lowering the prices of the penthouses, where a $66 million penthouse remains for sale.

Before the Penthouse II went into contract, Kushner Cos. had sold one penthouse for $28 million. The unit measured 6,000 square feet and was purchased by the JNZ Group in 2014.
