James Bond is the ultimate fantasy when it gets to being a spy, and nobody can beat that. Many of his things are specifically designed for him, from the gadgets to the extraordinary vehicles. However, some notable scenes needed an estate or a house, and these are a few of the most memorable properties that were used in the film franchise.
"Skyfall" 2012 - The Skyfall Estate
The Skyfall Estate or Lodge played an important role in the 2012 James Bond movie, the Daily Mail reported. The structure itself was constructed for the movie and was really meant to engulf in flames. The mansion is the ancestral home of James and is located in the highlands of Scotland. The set was filmed on Hankley Common near Elstead in Surrey, England, and is the British Ministry of Defence's property.
"Quantum of Solace" 2008 - Villa Le Torre
Villa Le Torre is located near Talamone, Southern Tuscany in Italy. This is where Bond visited his friend and ally Rene Mathis after watching Tosca in Bregenz, Austria. The Tower itself is on a private land enclosed with a security gate. Anybody who will be having a vacation in the tower will enjoy the romantic and magnificent view and atmosphere.
"For Your Eyes Only" 1981 - Villa Sylva
Villa Sylva was used by Gonzalez, a hitman in the movie who lives in Spain. However, the luxurious Villa Sylva is actually situated in the Corfu Island in Greece. Also, only the swimming pool and garden area were featured in the 1981 James Bond movie, where Emile Locque paid Gonzales for his work, James Bond Locations shared.
"Diamonds are Forever" 1971 - The Elrod House
The billionaire villain, Willard Whyte, used the Elrod House as a retreat house during the Winter. In real life, it was owned by interior designer Arthur Elrod, who commissioned American architect John Lautner to construct it back in 1968. It is located at 2175 Southridge Drive, Palm Springs, California.
