The New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts will try to keep their hot streak intact, as two of the most talented signal-callers in the league go head-to-head in what many expects to be high-scoring affair on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
What's at Stake?
After a slow start that triggered speculations of a change of guards in the quarterback position, Tom Brady and the Patriots has become the best team in the NFL entering week 10.
The Pats have racked up five consecutive victories, including last week's big win over the Denver Broncos at home. Another victory will give New England some breathing room above Miami Dolphins in the battle for AFC East supremacy.
Meanwhile, the Colts have emerged as the beast in the AFC South with a 6-3 record. Like the Pats, Indianapolis also endured a slow start, dropping their first two games of the season. However, they bounced back pretty well by winning six of their last seven games, though analyst think the team hasn't tested a true contender like the Pats during their streak.
Quarterback Showdown
All eyes will be on Brady and Luck, the present and future face of the AFC.
In spite dealing with trade rumors and early frustrations, Brady somehow found a way out of the hole and started tormenting opponents with his pin-point passing. He has already amassed 2,392 passing yards with 22 touchdowns.
Luck is also showing his incredible potential in his third season as the Colts' main man. The former Stanford standout recorded 3,085 yards with 26 TDs, leading the Colts' mean and lean scoring machinery that ranked first in passing yards (337.4 ypg).
