Cleveland Cavaliers Roster Rumors: Kevin Love Struggling to Adjust, LeBron James Seeing Progress

The Cleveland Cavaliers have one of best rosters in the NBA this season, but most fans and analyst knew that they would struggle early in the 2014-15 season, which was very evident in their first 10 games.

Cleveland absorbed their fifth defeat this season after a 92-90 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night, and All-Star forward Kevin Love admitted that he is still struggling to find his role in the team.

Love, who was acquired by Cleveland in a blockbuster trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the offseason, is averaging 16.7 points and 10.4 rebounds, but was limited to 10 points on just 4-for-12 shooting against the Spurs, where he took just one shot in the fourth period.

"It's come to a point where I'm just trying to find myself in this offense," Love told reporters, ESPN reported. "It's almost related to when you come into the league; usually the guys that dominate the ball so much tend to learn a lot quicker than a guy like myself, a big man. So, I'm just trying to find different spots in the offense."

But while he is not producing numbers similar to his productions during his time with the Timberwolves, Love pointed out that he is not worrying about his performance yet, saying that they are still in a learning process.

"Like anything it's going to take time," the three-time NBA All-Star said. "I'm not worried about it. I'm not mad at it, don't feel any sort of grudge or anything like that. I just want to help this team. I think I came here to win and we're going to figure it out. It's still early."

On the other hand, James loved what he saw from the Cavaliers in their close loss to the defending NBA champions, saying that they are making progress as a team as they improved from their 106-97 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Monday.

"This is a game that I'm happy about," James said. "I'm never happy about a loss, I hate to lose, but I'm happy about the progress we made tonight. It's totally different than what we did on Monday. We came to play, we competed for 48 minutes and when you give yourself an opportunity to win, that's all you can ask for."

James, who is averaging 25.9 points to go along with 6.8 assists and 6.6 rebounds per game this season, will look to help the Cavaliers snap their two-game skid when they face the Washington Wizards on Friday at Verizon Center.
