It was Betty White's 94th birthday yesterday, and as a way to celebrate the life of the star who has long been part of the Hollywood entertainment industry, take a look back at her previous celebrity homes which offer a glimpse of her personal life during the 1950s.
Huffington Post previously posted pictures of the American actress from the 1950s, which show snippets of the 94-year-old's home way back then. Based on the pictures, during her younger years, White used to live with her animal companions, which include a St. Bernard dog as well as two smaller pooches, one of which appears to be a poodle.
Some of the pictures show that White's home during the 1950s had an outdoor area filled with trees, and in several photos, she's also seen gardening. There's also a photo showing White wiping what looks to be a vintage car, which of course may have been a luxury vehicle during that time. Other photos seem to offer a glimpse into White's personal life, such as her figurines collection and her hobby of knitting, reading books, and hanging out with her pets. Her home in the photos also features a piano and an aquarium.
Meanwhile, back in 2012, a blogger posted something about Betty White's childhood home located at 454 North Harper Avenue in Los Angeles. According to the blog post, Allan R. Ellenberger wrote about the home in his book titled "Celebrities in the 1930 Census: Household Data of 2,265 U.S. Actors, Musicians, Scientists, Athletes, Writers, Politicians and Other Public Figures." The post further said that the celebrity home was occupied by White and her parents during the 1930s. The house reportedly cost $10,000 then, but Zillow states that the property is now worth over $1.5 million. The house features three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, White's net worth is $45 million. She is best known for her performance in the TV shows "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", "The Golden Girls" and "Hot in Cleveland."
