Boxing News 2014: Freddie Roach Blasts Floyd Mayweather, Amir Khan, Adrien Broner

Manny Pacquiao is reportedly eyeing fight against Floyd Mayweather, Amir Khan and Adrien Broner before he retires, but trainer Freddie Roach had something to say against Pacquiao's possible opponents.

Roach took a swipe at Mayweather, who has been linked to Pacquiao over the past several years. The Hall of Fame trainer said that the reigning pound-for-pound king has been ducking Pacquiao, knowing that the Filipino boxing icon could hand him the first defeat of his career.

Roach said that if the super showdown, which could break boxing records in terms of revenue, happens, Pacquiao will knock Mayweather out because the unbeaten champion's legs are gone.

"He's been ducking us for 3 1/2 years now," Roach said of Mayweather via Fighthype. "I mean, he's shot. His legs are gone. Manny will knock him out. It's not even a fight anymore. The guy's all done. He can't move anymore. He used to move constantly for 12 rounds. He can't even do that anymore. He's right in front of you."

Mayweather, who holds an unblemished 47-0 record with 26 knockouts, is coming off two hard-earned wins against Marcos Maidana in May and September.

Aside from Mayweather, Pacquiao recently hinted that he is open to facing Amir Khan even in England, saying that he is willing to fight anybody because he knows that he is nearing the twilight of his career.

"A fight with Amir would be an exciting fight. I can fight him anywhere, even in England," Pacquiao told The Telegraph. "I don't know how much longer I will fight. I'd like to retire in the next few years, so for now I am willing to face anybody."

When asked about a possible showdown between Pacquiao and Khan, Roach said that the Briton won't be a threat to the former pound-for-pound king. The veteran trainer said that Pacquiao knocked Khan out at least four times in sparring sessions when the Bolton, England native is still under Roach's watch.

Roach also added that he is not interested in pitting Pacquiao against Broner next year. While Broner holds an impressive 29-1 record with 22 knockouts, the 54-year-old trainer said that the 25-year-old former welterweight champion doesn't have the tools to defeat Pacquiao.
