Celebrity Real Estate: The Chelsea Duplex of Bobby Flay is Listed on the Market

Bobby Flay is really eager to sell their duplex conjugal property at the Chelsea Mercantile. He put it on sale in October for a fabulous price of $7.95 million. In an apparent effort to earn from the 3,256-square-foot condo as well, Flay is also offering his pad for a monthly rent of $22,500.

According to the report of The New York Post, Flay kept the apartment, where his wife March took care of her sick mother, along with their Hamptons home, as part of the divorce settlement. Spouses Meris Blumstein and Kenny Blumstein, along with their daughter, Sydney, are marketing Flay's sale listing, as well as the rental listing.

The condo is located at 252 Seventh Avenue - an address where Katie Holmes stayed after she divorced Tom Cruise. The three-bedroom and three-bathroom condo features a top-of-the-line chef's kitchen which includes two dishwashers, Viking appliances, and a spacious walk-in pantry.

The duplex is a combined unit on the eighth floor and another on the ninth. It has a lower-level media room that can be converted into a fourth bedroom. The living/dining area is located on the second-level.

The firm MG & Company that designed the digs of the former couple has worked also with Flay on his eateries in New York City.

The sprawling Chelsea Mercantile condo of star chef Bobby Flay has a unique townhouse feel. Guests will be entertained in style with its grand living room and beautifully appointed chef's kitchen.

The condo features a huge "rec" room that can accommodate a full size billiard table. This room is outfitted with an original Parisian Zinc bar. The property also has a home office accented by a wall of spectacular steel casement windows, as per the report of the Corcoran.

It also has exceptional amenities that include a garage located in the building, a full-time doorman, valet service, a concierge, personal storage, a playroom, a gym, and a beautifully landscaped roof deck top off this incredible pad.
