Los Angeles Listings: Mansion That Served as Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's Magazine Photo Backdrop on Sale for $2.249M

A beautiful mansion in Rancho Mirage in California is now being sold for $2.249 million.

According to Realtor, the listing agent for the property says that the place has a bit of Hollywood connection. It was reported that the place was by architect E. Stewart Williams, who is also the person behind the stunning design of Frank Sinatra's Palm Springs home. Some of the best architectural details of the property includes walls of windows, a floating floor plan and a floating fireplace.

The mansion that was originally built in 1957 was commissioned by the famous oil tycoon Robert Kenaston and his wife, silent-film star Billie Dove, and it was originally a gift for their son's wedding. Years later, the place has been "meticulously and authentically" restored with impeccable interior décor and designs by Mark Davis at Modern Home Design. However, the furnishings are not really part of the sale price, but they can be bought separately.

With 4,780 square feet of area, the place offers huge spaces with two master suites and two bedrooms which share a bathroom and a powder room. The mansion also has a media room, a large dining area and a kitchen that is filled with modern appliances. Outside, people can enjoy the fabulous swimming pool. The total area of the lot is about 0.56 acres, and it also has a garage which can cater up to four cars.

It was reported that the place was also the same location used for the 2005 W Magazine shoot of power couple Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie. In the shoot, the actors then played the role of a married couple; it was shot long before they became husband and wife.

The current owners of the property bought the place in 2007 and decided to sell it since they reportedly don't get to use it often anymore.
