A series of Frank Lloyd Wright homes have been going on the market right now. The H. Howard Hyde House in Beverly, Chicago has just been relisted on the market - and with a price cut!
One of the "early prefab American System-Built Houses" was designed by iconic architect, Frank Lloyd Wright - responsible for iconic structures, like the Guggenheim in New York City.
The home has four bedrooms and two and a half baths. Other rooms include a living area with a fireplace, a dining nook, a formal dining area, a family room, and an outdoor patio to entertain guests along a garden. Based on the photos listed below, two of the four bedrooms were converted into home offices.
The home first entered the market in July 2015 with a price tag of $749,900. Now that it's been relisted, the asking price of the home has dwindled down to $619,900.
As it turns out, the house had gone through a lot of changes since 1999, when it was last sold. The kitchen was updated; the basement was finished, and all new plumbing and electrical systems were installed, according to the listing agent.
Frank Lloyd Wright-designed homes aren't a rare thing around the Chicago metro area. However, the H. Howard Hyde House is the only house designed by Wright that is currently on sale and within city limits.
This Beverly home is another addition to the series of Wright-designed homes that are seeking new owners this year.
