It's already been a known fact that Pablo Escobar is one of the biggest names in Latin America who changed people's view in drug cartels. Escobar is known for drug trafficking and illegal narcotics distribution worldwide as he is known to have won the drug war during his time.
Escobar is also known for his unimaginable wealth that an average person could not acquire. For more than 20 years, Escobar took over the billionaire status up until his death. His net worth continually increased from $3 billion to $30 billion at the span of his drug trafficking hype. He owned several properties including a mansion, exotic animals, numerous jets, helicopters, and even a professional soccer team, making him the richest person on earth.
Even at the time of his arrest, Escobar still reigns the billionaires list. Rumors then emerged that he once burned $2 million just to keep his daughter warm while he and his family were running from the authorities.
Earlier this week, Pablo Escobar once again made the headlines as it was reported that this mansion was demolished.
As per Remezcla website, his beach house mansion was demolished last Tuesday. As per the recent owner Christian de Berouare, he's thrilled to see that Ecobar's mansion is being demolished. During an interview with ABC, the Chicken Kitchen owner stated,"I'm very excited to see the house of the devil disappearing right before our eyes, This was the biggest criminal in the history of the world. I would like to be associated with something more uplifting, but nevertheless, it is a part of the city."
What's surprising however was the fact that de Berdouare didn't have any idea that the house he bought $4.65 million actually belongs to Escobar. As per reports, Pablo Escobar bought the pink mansion for $726,500 back in 1980, but as per the deed, he only paid $10 for the property.
