NYC Bachelor Pad Renovated to Look Like An Eccentric Family Home

A simple NYC bachelor pad was recently renovated to look like an eccentric and spacious family home.

According to Curbed, architect Kevin Lichten of the local firm Lichten Craig showed off his interior design and renovation skills when he transformed one pad in the ultra-hip SoHo neighborhood. The end result of his creative masterpiece was featured in the latest issue of Veranda.

The photos from the publication showed a beautiful three-bedroom apartment on Park Avenue that boasts of provocative wall to wall designs and shapes.

"Beyond a dramatic foyer donning oxblood grass sheath and a red-and-white 'ice cream parloresque' kitchen, one particularly intriguing design moment is the spectacular blue dining room-cum-library. The square-shaped space, marked by intricate coffered ceilings designed by Lichten and a ravishing cornflower blue color selected by Kemble, is vibrant in daylight and intimate in night time," the publication noted.

Meanwhile, if this beautiful pad-cum-apartment doesn't appeal to you, know that there are several other property options in the heart of New York City's Upper East Side.

For instance, Naked Apartments has a wide range of apartment options that you can rent throughout your stay in the Big Apple. Some properties that come with full facilities and amenities range between $1,500 to $2,000 per month. Other more luxurious apartments may also be rented for a massive $12,300 per month.

If your budget is pretty tight, you may choose to settle for apartments that cost roughly between $1,500 to $2,000. These apartments comes with a dishwasher and most allow pets indoors.

If you're looking for fully furnished apartments but would want to save on the cost, it might best for you to check out a different location in the United States. Some locations are much cheaper compared to New York City.
