New reports indicate that "The Hunger Games" co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence, both 24, have taken their friendship to the next level.
According to OK Magazine via Hollywood Life, with ex-boyfriend Chris Martin out of the way, Liam has become the person she depends on.
"It happened while they were in Germany, promoting the movie, having a heart-to-heart in Liam's hotel room," wrote the publication.
"Jennifer was overwhelmed by all the publicity surrounding her split from Chris Martin and her nude photo scandal, and he was more than happy to listen to her vent."
The insider continued: "Liam said something to lighten the mood, making Jen laugh, then she wrapped her arms around him to give him a hug."
That particular moment was what cinched the romance for the pair. Jennifer felt something in that moment, said the source and revealed that Lawrence, "suddenly knew he was The One."
The great thing about that was that the "American Hustle" actress wasn't the only one who felt something. "Liam obviously felt it too, because they decided then and there that they wanted to be together," shared the insider.
In a recent interview, Hemsworth, the younger brother of "Thor" actor Chris Hemsworth, has credited Lawrence for helping him get over ex-fiance Miley Cyrus.
While speaking to the Associated Press via Mail Online, Hemsworth revealed he has been "much happier" and is feeling "more comfortable in my own skin that I've ever been."
He said his co-stars, especially Lawrence, has reminded him to enjoy life. "Being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now," he continued. "I'm much happier."
Jen, on the other hand, has publicly commented on how Liam has changed her life.
NDTV reported that the Oscar-winning actress said the following about her co-star: "I guess the thing that surprised me is that I would never expect to ever have a man this good looking ever be my best friend. I just would never assume those things could happen, but he is. He's (Liam) the most wonderful, lovable, family-oriented, sweet, hilarious, amazing guy. He actually taught me how to be fair and to stand up for myself. It's my biggest weakness: negotiating."
She continued to add that Liam is an all-around great guy who has taught her how to "toughen up a little bit."
The co-stars have just released the first installment of "The Hunger Games" two-part finale. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is due out in theaters Nov. 2015.
Stay tuned for more on the rumored romance.
