Bedroom Ideas: Top 5 Types of Canopy Beds You'll Love to Have in Your Bedroom

Here's a look at five of the most beautiful types and kinds of canopy beds you might want to have at home.

According to Elle Décor, there are at least 25 different types, styles and designs for canopy beds. However, we've narrowed down this list to just the top 5 options.

Photographer Roger Davies shared a snap of a beautiful built-in canopy inside a French home that makes use of the same fabric as with the bedroom's wall. The coverlet used is from Pierre Frey and the bed is designed by Directoire.

Photographer Simon Upton also shared an image that was taken from a Parisian apartment. The bed in the home was designed by Jean-Louis Deniot from his Collection Pierre.

The canopy is made out of silk materials and is designed by Brunschwig & Fils. Additionally, the canopy is also lined with a fabric created by Colefax and Fowler. The bedroom's look is made even more beautiful by the carpet designed by Diurne and nightstands that are custom-made.

Meanwhile, the third best canopy bed that you can have at home is the one made by architect Michele Bonan. What makes this canopy interesting is the fact that it is perfect for homes that have high ceilings. The bed comes with hangings of Dedar fabric and ottoman and sofa may also be purchased to match with the bed itself.

Photographer Eric Piasecki also shared a photo of a canopy bed that is unlike any other. The bed was from a bungalow in Larry Laslo's Palm Beach and it showed a rather small looking canopy. Instead of being placed over the bed, the canopy just rests on top of the head board.

Lastly, fabric drapes for canopies are also a good option especially if you want your room to have a stylish appeal. One such example is John Derian's bedding in a Cape Cod cottage.
