Los Angele Rents Update: What Apartment will you get with $2,050 a Month?

LA housing appears to be expensive these days. Housing rentals may also soar high. Desiring to live in Los Angeles, it is wise to know how much the average rent of a house or apartment. Or. Let's say your price range is $2050, what rents you with the given price limit?

Before giving sample listings of apartment or townhouse within the price range of $2050, a report from LA Times says that in Los Angeles neighborhoods, a recent annual rate of rents has already been released. It is noted in the report that the most expensive rent rate is in Beverly Hills with $49.80 per square foot, and the lowest rate is in Gardena with $20.84 square feet.

Learning this rate will somehow give the renter an idea of the monthly rent.

As for what rents you with the price range of $2050 in Los Angeles, here's a listing posted in L.A Curbed.

A studio apartment in North Hollywood Arts District is rented out for $2,100. The apartment has a "loft, 766 feet of wide open space and exposed duct work await here, along with air conditioning (those ducts aren't just decorative), on-site laundry, and polished concrete." The renter has an assigned parking space too.

If you don't like an apartment but prefer a condo, then there's one in West Hollywood. The unit has a bedroom and bathroom. It features hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances, plus a parking space is part of the amenity. Residents can enjoy the lap pool and spa as well. The rent costs $2,100 every month.

Then there's another one in Brentwood courtyard, which is only $2,045 a month. The apartment is in nearby Barrington and Sunset area. "The one-bedroom, upper-level unit for rent here has cherry oak wood floors, a dishwasher, efficient double-paned windows, and an "XL" bedroom. The building also has laundry facilities on-site."

But you would never believe that at $2,000 a month, you could already rent a 2-bedroom apartment in Hollywood. It also has 2 bathrooms and parking space plus laundry facilities. The apartment also features a "balcony, new granite countertops, and laminate floors."
