Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles NFL Live Stream, Box Score Stats, Play-by-Play & Results

The Dallas Cowboys (8-3) and the Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) will duke it out for the first time this season, with the winner gaining a significant advantage in what appears to be a very close race for the top spot in the NFC East.

After suffering defeats against the Arizona Cardinals 28-17 and Washington Redskins 20-17, the Cowboys keep their playoff hope alive after scoring victories against the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-17 and the New York Giants 31-28.

Nevertheless, Thursday's showdown with the Eagles presents a far more difficult test for the 'Boys, who are trying to snap a five-year absence in the NFL postseason.

Philadelphia, on the other hand, has recovered well from a nightmarish 53-20 loss against the Green Bay Packers two weeks ago. The Eagles pulled off a 43-24 blowout win against the Tennessee Titans, thanks to Mark Sanchez's excellent game.

Filling the spot left void by starting quarterback Nick Foles (broken collarbone), Sanchez took the opportunity by the horn as already covered 1,103 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions this season, In the win against the Titans, Sanchez passed for 307 yards with one TD score and two interceptions to lead the 'Boys into another win.

Eagles head coach Chip Kelly are expecting a very difficult match-up with the Cowboys because of their prolific running game led by DeMarco Murray along with a very tough defense

"We've got a pretty good understanding of what (the Cowboys) are right now," Kelly said ahead of the Cowboys' game vs. the Eagles. "They play extremely hard on the defensive side; and then, obviously, offensively they are running the ball at a very, very high rate."

For NFL fans, Thursday's Thanksgiving treat between the Eagles and the Cowboys is a massive ball game because the outcome may determine both teams' fate with five games left in their regular-season schedule.
