Real estate tech company OneRent.co wants to act as mediator between property owners and renters. The startup's main goal is to help landlords and potential renters simplify the rental process.

According to Inman, OneRent was established to serve both tenants and renters. Many people who rent have difficulty finding tenants who are easy to negotiate with. And a big factor is the lack of units that are available for rent. This is where renters can benefit from OneRent; the software is programmed to help people find the most suitable rental home for them. In the rental market, OneRent connects the owners to the renters. It is a big help for both parties as the rental processing becomes faster and easier. It takes less time and effort and they can even save money. OneRent charges a minimum fee of $100 per month per unit or 5 percent of the monthly rent.

OneRent was founded by Greg Toschi and Chuck Hattemer. The idea of having an automated rental processing system came from their personal experience which led them to develop a program that can help both the renters and the owner. They want to speed up closing of deals which they believe can relieve the stress and hassle for both owners and renters.

OneRent is offering variety of services such as, showing of rental units, rental payments and maintenance request. The program automates all these steps which can save a lot of time and money for both the renters and the owners. Another interesting feature of OneRent is the mobile manager. For renters it will be easy for them to access OneRent from anywhere using their mobile phones.
