Real estate firm Howard Hanna has identified three objectives that the company wants to accomplish to improve its performance. In order to do this, they have enlisted the help of business data analysis expert CoreLogic.
According to HousingWire, the agreement between CoreLogic and Howard Hanna will include a guaranteed 10-year sale of data for every property the real estate company lists. Howard Hanna executive Hoby Hannah explained that the partnership will address three goals his company identified which will be part of their strategy moving forward. There are currently 7,000 sales personnel scattered across 205 offices of Howard Hanna in eight states of the U.S. which means the company is gearing up to reinforce its market share in the real estate business.
Hannah outlined how CoreLogic will benefit their operations saying, "First, from an SEO perspective, we will develop more authority for every property in our market place, not just active listings. This will inform what transactions have happened in the neighborhood around a subject property and when. This leads to the third benefit of creating landing pages to develop opportunities for our company to invite homeowners to generate a seller inquiry on their property."
Chris Bennet, general manager of CoreLogic Real Estate Solutions said that third-party websites have a more complete offering of pages compared to big companies like Howard Hanna. He noted that most sites have landing pages even for inactive listings but the real estate brokerage's site HowardHanna.com yields a "property not found" despite the property was just listed in over a month. Bennet beamed, "With the help of CoreLogic all of that has changed. Now every property has its own permanent page."
Meanwhile, it was reported by PR Newswire this month that CoreLogic acquired 49.9 percent of ownership of RELS which belonged to Wells Fargo effectively making the data services provider the full owner of the company that is the top provider of real estate asset valuation and appraisals in the country. Anand Nallathambi, president and CEO of CoreLogic said that the move to acquire full ownership of RELS was logical for his company as this will make them the leading source of marketplace data for years to come.
