WATCH: Busta Rhymes Falls Off Stage at Concert; Suffers Head Injury

Busta Rhymes ended up in an unfortunate accident when he fell off the stage and hit his head during a concert by O.T. Genasis at the Webster Hall in New York on Friday, The Celebrity Café reported.

O.T. Genasis, who is signed to Busta Rhymes' record label The Conglomerate, welcomed his fellow rapper on stage as he performed his new song "CoCo." Busta Rhymes was seen smoking a cigar and toting a bottle of Hennessey on stage when one wrong step too far from the edge sent him toppling off.

It appeared that when Busta Rhymes was head-banging along to the O.T. Genasis song with the others on stage, a bit of momentum and a wrong step had him falling headfirst and into the crowd of concertgoers, according to 9News.

In a series of exclusive photos and a video by TMZ, fans can get a glimpse of the 42-year-old with blood on his head and face. He was rushed backstage by security grounds and did not make another appearance for the rest of the concert.

Busta Rhymes reassured fans he was fine through a series of tweets made the day after the incident and thanked those who have been asking about his welfare.

"JUST 4 THE RECORD I'M SUPER GOOD!!," the rapper tweeted. He wrote that he was just feeling passionate at the time and that falling off the stage while performing or breaking a limb was nothing.

"WE STAY ON LEVEL 10.. WE ALWAYS WILL BE ON 10!!" he also tweeted. "SH*T HAPPENS BUT I LOVE IT CAUSE WE LIVE IT!!"

He also showed off his sense of humor by sharing a video of him falling off the stage on his official Instagram and Facebook accounts. The rapper captioned the videos: "This is what happens when #THECONGLMERATE money starts changing and when we got the hottest record in the county."

Busta Rhymes then called out Wiz Khalifa saying that he thought his stage dive was better and adding "LMFAO."

Wiz Khalifa had also taken a sight tumble on the stage himself when he tripped during his 2010 concert in Boston, according to E! News. The rapper managed to recover quickly, unlike Busta Rhymes' unfortunate head-first tumble.

Busta Rhymes also heaped praises and congratulations on O.T. Genasis of the release of "CoCo" on iTunes through Twitter, and thanked his own label The Conglomerate.

"We will never stop doing what we've always done and that's doing what we love!!!," he tweeted.
