Football superstar David Beckham got involved in a car accident along with his eldest son Brooklyn, the Hindu reported.
The car crash happened after the former England football captain picked up his 15-year-old son from a football game on Saturday at the Arsenal grounds in London Colney in Hertfordshire, north of London.
A source reported the incident to E! News, saying that the two were involved in a car accident, but added that "they did not suffer any injuries and both passengers in the other vehicle were unharmed."
"David and Brooklyn were shaken by the accident but thankfully OK," the source added.
According to the Telegraph, David, 39, was driving an Audi when the accident happened, but he and his eldest son sustained no serious injuries because of the deployment of the car's airbags.
"They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang at quite a speed but everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody's fine. Thankfully the car's airbags deployed," a source close to the Beckham's told the Telegraph.
However, BBC reported that the London police refused to disclose whether the athlete was involved in the crash, saying only that a grey Audi RS6 crashed with a silver Mitsubishi Colt.
Brooklyn was playing for the Arsenal's under-16's against the Brighton and Hove before the accident happened.
"Weird to play against Brooklyn Beckham earlier. Even weirder to be currently stuck behind David Beckham as he has crashed his car." Thomas Cadman, who also played during the match wrote on his Twitter account.
Another member of the Brighton's under-16s team, Archie Davies, tweeted that David Beckham got into a car crash and might have hurt his shoulder.
According to the Independent, while David and Brooklyn got out of the accident unscathed, the same cannot be said about the Audi as it was rendered damaged on the driver's side and unusable.
Meanwhile, E! News reported that Brooklyn has already been in two previous car accidents with his father, but neither of them were injured both times.
In 2011, they were involved in a car accident on the 405 freeway in Los Angeles, and in 2013, the father and son got into another accident in front of their Beverly Hills home, which the beckham's bought in 2007.
In August 2014, David was involved in a motorcycle crash on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, near their home. And this past October, the football star's car collided with another vehicle while leaving his Beverly Hills home, according to the Independent.
