While pop star royalty Britney Spears is residing in her stunning Italian villa in Thousand Oaks, CA, her former Noho penthouse is still on the market, and it underwent another price cut. It is now available for $7.6 million.
According to Pop Sugar, the penthouse located at The Silk Building on 14 East 4th St. was once occupied by Tower Records during the early 1980s. Spears purchased the place for $3 million in 2002, and she listed it for $6 million in 2004 before it was sold for $4 million in 2006.
The current owners of the place listed the apartment for $6.595 million, but it was never sold despite having several price cuts until 2011. The place was relisted in the market last year for $9 million, but without any taker, the property is now listed for $7.6 million.
Listing details for Spears' former house reveals that the place has 4,400 square feet of area which covers four different floors of the building. It occupies the 10th to 12th floors and also the penthouse level. The living room, dining room and the kitchen are located on the 12th floor. The 12th floor has the biggest space in the property, and the kitchen comes with custom cabinets and a Sub Zero refrigerator.
On the 10th and 11th floors, there are extra sitting rooms and three bedrooms which are located on the lower floors of the penthouse. The bedroom on the 10th floor comes with a spacious dressing area. The penthouse has a total of four and half bathrooms which are designed with a luxurious spa-style.
According to Forbes, Spears has an estimated net worth of $31 million. Although she had some struggles in her personal life and career in the past years, she continued to make million off her Las Vegas shows in Planet Hollywood. She recently announced that she is currently working on her ninth studio album, and she is also continuing her lingerie line called "The Intimate Britney Spears."
