Former Spice Girl Mel B, whose real name is Melanie Janine Brown, has revealed that she dated a woman she met at her daughter's school for four years.
The "X-Factor" judge admitted during a recent interview with The Guardian that she was involved in relationship with a woman named Christa Parker, a mother of two whose children attended Mel's daughter, Phoenix's school in Los Angeles.
"I did have a four-year relationship with a woman," said Brown, 39. "But I've been very happily married for seven years to a penis. An amazing guy."
After referring to her husband as a "penis," she continued: "Well, you know what I mean. But I've definitely not been shy or been one to hold back. If I wanted to try something, I did. I had a girlfriend. So what?"
Also referred to as Scary Spice, the singer and reality star addressed the claims of former Playboy model Luann Lee who alleges that last year, Brown followed her into a disabled lavatory for an "intimate moment."
She commented on the rumors stemming from the report that she and husband Stephen Belafonte are in an open marriage, she goes on to say: "No, me and my husband are very tight and solid. But I will be the first one to compliment a woman, to say to my husband, 'Oh my God, look at her legs'; or 'Doesn't she look stunning?' I do think women are gorgeous. Crazy but gorgeous."
What else does the outspoken celebrity reveal? Recalling earlier comments to Howard Stern in 2010, Mel, who also has three-year-old daughter, Madison, with her husband, claimed that she and Stephen have sex five times a day.
"There's a rule in our house: you don't just walk into the bedroom, you knock on the door first, out of respect. My mum and dad taught me that."
She says that five times a day isn't happening because of her busy work schedule but she does note that they are sexually, emotionally and psychologically compatible in every way.
Mel B currently sits as a judge for "America's Got Talent" and recently replaced Nicole Scherzinger on "The X Factor" in the U.K completing the panel as its fourth judge.
