In an unconventional turn of events, a mansion in Paradise Valley, Arizona which had an original price of $16 million, now has a tag price of $21 million.
The huge estate on Palo Cristi Road did not sell when it was first listed at $16 million last summer, reported Phoenix Business Journal. Usually when this is the case, owners would slash the price to attract prospective buyers. However, with this Paradise Valley Mansion, $5 million is added to the original price last month.
It has not been divulged as to why the homeowner, instead of cutting the price down, raised it. However, through its listing on Redfin, $21 million may be a reasonable value for such a massive estate.
The single family detached home is located in Maricopa County and comfortably sits on around 3.57-acre of land with the Camelback Mountain backdrop. The entrance to the property is reminiscent of an Italian country villa, plus landmarks all throughout the property screams of the Mediterranean country with a few Arizonian touch.
The family home has a total of seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, including two master suite. Extravagance is wreaking on every part of the home especially with the staircase completely imported from Italy. The entire house is inlaid with marble tiles, also from Italy.
The sizable bedrooms will not disappoint nor will the kitchen, which is every cook's dream. Even the staple rooms like dining and living areas are eye-catching. Other rooms in the home include a game room, exercise/sauna room, family room, loft, library, media room and guest quarters that have a separate entrance. There is also a separate office/den.
If the interior is luxurious, the exterior features of the estate is just as magnificent. The property has a parking space for a total of eight cars. A stone clad wine cave, which can house more than 600 bottles is another plush amenity to this estate. A total of five fountains are scattered throughout the property.
A big pool is found in the home's backyard with a covered kitchenette perfect for barbecue/grilling. However, it does not end there. This Paradise Valley mansion also has its own private spa, children's play area, a gazebo, a separate guest house, a tennis court, and a basketball court.
The property does not conduct an open house, but potential buyers could make an appointment to be able to tour it.
