The gated waterfront compound located at 2458 National Drive in Mill Basin was once the second most expensive home in Brooklyn. Other features of the gigantic mansion include a 1,000-square-foot pool, 30,000 square feet of outdoor gardens and a 40-person pavilion for parties. The lavish home also has a wine cellar, a Lalique fireplace mantel, a four-car garage, 257 feet of waterside frontage, a two-boat marina, spa, and outdoor pavilion with kitchen, according to Business Insider.
It is said that the property was initially owned and constructed by John Rosatti, a multimillionaire with mob links to the Colombo crime family. Rosatti was labeled as the "earner" who allegedly collected massive millions for various unlawful activities. The first owner sold the mansion to Galina Anisimova, the Russian heiress and mother of the "Russian Paris Hilton." The property was sold for $3 million in the late 1990s.
